6 Concepts

Six Concepts
The following statements are not carved in stone, they are not ‘statements of faith’, but rather are the general framework in which the Divinaturist Fellowship rests.

1 ) God, or ‘The One’ exists within the natural world, and is also greater than the natural world. (panentheism)

2 )The term ‘Divinus’ in Divinaturism refers to the animating flow of The One in the Natural World. That which is most often felt.

3 ) The term ‘Natura or Natura Mater’ in Divinaturism refers to the natural world. That which is most often seen.

4 ) The One is Transcendent, but becomes Immanent by the flowing of the Divine into the Natural world.

5 ) We are mindful of the Wheel of the Year, and how we relate to it on an inner level:
East: Morning, Spring, Spirituality, New Growth
South: Noon, Summer, Emotions, Strength
West: Sunset, Autumn, Physical, Going-Within
North: Midnight, Winter, Womb

6 ) We recognize the ways in which we are all interconnected, while at the same time we recognize that as human beings, we are each different and unique. Different paths have their own understanding of the One, based on different traditions and cultures. We feel that all paths that focus on spiritual growth, mercy and love, while denouncing bigotry, violence, racism, manipulation of thought and oppression are Sister paths of our own. We respect other paths and encourage the spiritual journey of the individual.
